Types of padel courts: indoor, outdoor, panoramic and covered
Before the model, the first decision on any padel court is the type of installation, because it changes the structure, the base and the cost. The types of padel courts we build in the UK fall into four groups, and many projects combine two of them, such as an outdoor court with a cover or an indoor panoramic show court.
- Indoor padel courts: built inside existing warehouses, leisure centres and racket clubs, where clearance, access for the glass and the strength of the slab are checked first. This is our most frequent UK project.
- Outdoor padel courts: weather-ready structures on a new or existing base with drainage, sized to the British climate and to planning conditions on lighting and noise.
- Panoramic and full panoramic courts: courts with fewer structural elements around the glass, chosen where visibility for spectators and the look of the venue matter as much as play.
- Covered courts: outdoor courts with canopies or a roof integrated in the quote, for venues that want year-round bookings without a full building.
Each type follows the same FIP dimensions and design: a 20 by 10 metre playing area, glass back walls, mesh sides and a homologated artificial turf surface. What changes is the structure around that standard, and that is where the three models in the catalogue come in. Padel tennis, as some still call the sport, does not need much land: a court fits where a single tennis court would not.

Titan: the pillar court for intensive use and outdoor projects
Titan is a padel court with pillars, the most robust design in the range and the one we recommend for sports clubs, facilities with a high rotation of players and outdoor projects exposed to wind and weather. The pillars carry the glass and mesh on a structure system built for years of heavy play and the best quality of construction in the range, and the court can be finished in any structure and turf colour with club branding.
Dream: the panoramic padel court for premium clubs and show courts
Dream is our panoramic padel court, with greater visibility and fewer structural elements around the glass. It is the model for premium clubs, centre courts and training centres where spectators, coaching and the look of the venue matter as much as the game, and it is the court most often chosen for indoor venues that want a modern, open feel.
Elite: the full panoramic competition court
Elite is the full panoramic padel court in the catalogue, the most open design we manufacture, intended for high-level venues, tournaments and events. Glass runs almost uninterrupted around the court, which gives players and spectators the clearest view of the game and gives a venue its show court, the one pro players and the public want to see.
What type of padel court should I choose?
Choosing between the types of padel courts and the three models comes down to four questions: who will play, where the court will stand, how it will be used and what the investment needs to return. A single garden court at home has different needs from a commercial club with six courts, and a school or council facility has different needs again. This is the guide we use in the first consultation.
- Sports clubs and high-rotation facilities: Titan, indoor or outdoor, with LED lighting sized for evening bookings.
- Premium clubs, show courts and coaching centres: Dream panoramic, usually indoor, with custom colours and branding.
- Tournament venues and events: Elite full panoramic as the centre court, often alongside Titan or Dream courts.
- Hotels, resorts and holiday parks: outdoor Titan or Dream courts, with a canopy where year-round play is expected.
- Schools, colleges, councils and local authorities: Titan for durability, with the compliance pack for procurement.
- Developers and private homes: a single Titan or Dream court sized to the plot, with lighting chosen to suit neighbours and planning conditions.
Whichever type you choose, the surfaces, the glass and the mesh come from the same production line, so mixing models on one site is straightforward, spare parts stay consistent over the years and the installations all work together as one facility. Padel court characteristics and technical data sheet
Procurement teams, architects and planning officers ask for the same information on every project, so we provide a technical data sheet with each quote. It covers the padel court characteristics that define the installation and the certificates that back them, and it lines up with the LTA padel court data and guidance that UK local authorities refer to.
Dimensions and structure

How much does each type of padel court cost?
Cost follows the type and the model: an indoor court on an existing slab, an outdoor court with new groundworks and a covered court each have a different figure, and a panoramic or full panoramic court costs more than a pillar court because it uses more glass. What type of padel court should I choose?

How do I choose which model of padel court to set up?

Is the planned site indoor or outdoor, and does the catalogue change?
All three models can be built indoors or outdoors. Outdoor courts use weather-ready structures and may include a canopy; indoor courts are checked for clearance, access and slab strength.
Are you interested in standard or panoramic aesthetics?
Titan is the standard pillar court; Dream and Elite are panoramic and full panoramic. Panoramic courts use more glass and cost more per court, but they give the venue a show court.
